YOU'RE FOOLING YOURSELF/GET OFF OSI'S BACK!

Listen up! All you New York Giants' bloggers, all my fellow Giants' fans, and especially you bullshit, "non-Giant fan" news paper writers, you guys have got to get off of Osi Umenyiora's back!

Osi is no doubt coming off his least productive season in his 9 year NFL career, but this was the man's first year back after a major knee injury! And last time I checked, he was only 1 of 4 hyped defensive lineman that underachieved this season. I mean, he wasn't the only past pro bowler out there not playing well, and they DIDN'T have a serious knee injury the season prior. And also, last time I checked, Osi wasn't a defensive back getting burned game after game by big pass plays.

And to you fans that are saying Osi needs go, you are F'ing lying to yourself and to whoever you're telling that garbage to!
Osi is a 2 time Pro Bowler ('05 & '07), he's set the Giants' record for sacks in a single game (6) which also tied him for the NFC record, and he was the Giants' sack leader 4 years in a row ('04, '05, '06, '07) second to the GREAT Lawrence Taylor!
So you people (that said it or thought it) really think our Giants will be better off without a player like that?! Oh yeah I forgot, he's only 28 years old!

So I for one want Osi back and I hope he finishes his career in New York. He's a great player that had a serious injury. He'll be back next season just as great as he was. Would you rather the Giants release him and he gets signed by Philly and we play AGAINST him twice a year? Ha! Didnt think so!

GIANTS DONT OWE ME AN APOLOGY

So, I've been receiving alot links to articles that read, "Giants Owe Fans Apologies", "Coughlin Wants To Apologize To Fans" or "Apologies Owed To Fans"...look, MY New York Football Giants dont owe me any kind of apology! Fans that truely love the Giants should feel the same.

Im pretty sure the Giants didn't TRY to lose games. Just like im pretty sure the Giants didnt want 4 defensive starters out for the mojority of the season due to injuries, 2 of which were season ending! Im positive that if u take 3 starting DBs & a starting, team captain LB out of any football team's line-up, that they struggle as well.

Eli Manning is 120 passing yards away from a career high 4000 passing yards, Steve Smith has 97 rec, also career high & Giants record, and will most likely catch at least 3 balls to total 100 for the season, Mario Manningham is at 822 rec yards, & rookie star, Hakeem Nicks is at 795 rec yards! All this shows that while the defense struggled due to injuries, Eli Manning and his offense was doing all they could, one could say above & beyond expectations, to carry this team. They were even breaking records trying to win games, not only for the team, but without a doubt for us fans! SO WHAT IN THE HELL DO THEY OWE US AN APOLOGY FOR, BEING ONE OF THE BEST OFFENSES IN GIANTS HISTORY, OR LOSING STARTERS IN THE DEFENSE BECAUSE OF INJURIES???

Bottom line is, when u play a game of football, you have a 50/50 chance of winning. Its safe to say that odds are the Giants are not going to win every game, every season. Add to the fact all the injuries to the defense, and a first year DC, and we just came up a little short, as far as the playoffs are concerned. Giants ar STILL one of the NFL's better teams, and there's absolutely no doubt MY New York Giants will be back on top next season!

P.S. Now the Colts, they OWE their fans an apology for that Jets game! LOL

NEW YORK GIANTS THEN, NOW, FOREVER!

In-light of a tweet I read by an awesome lady that's a fellow Giants' fan, and the fact that its a day later and I've cooled off, I wanna apologize to all my Giants' fans for my post yesturday that I wrote after the game!

It was written directly after the game and I was oviously still steaming hot about the loss. Then I read that Tweet this morning and it really made me ashamed of myself! Me & my Giants are like a father & son...would I cross the line with the criticism if my son messed up? Absolutely NOT! So from here on out, im going to try really hard to find the positives when things dont go perfect with my New York Football Giants!

No NFL, or sports team for that matter, will win every game and every championship every year. And last time I checked, we Giants fan have alot to be thankful for. Here's a list of just a few:

1. An All Pro Super Bowl MVP QB that doesn't miss starts

2. A team that's proven to be a champion

3. Were only 2 short seasons removed from beating an 18-0 team to win a Super Bowl(42)

4. After losing All Pro Plaxico Burress, the emergence of Steve Smith being an All Pro

5. Hakeem Nicks! His future looks like a superstar

6. Offense looks to becoming "high octane"

7. Jonathan Goff. I see "something" in this guy

8. Our defense, when everyone is healthy. TRUST! when everyone comes back next season

healthy, the other teams in the league WILL have problems!

9. A good veteran line and Beatty & Boothe's future

10. Despite this fluke of a bad season, the New York Giants ARE an elite team!

11. Four straight seasons,('05, '06, '07*, '08) making the playoffs. Thats NOT a "fluke", Tim Smith!

12. (BONUS) We are NOT Dallas!

* won super bowl

New York's going to go into this offseason, regroup, re-load, and KILL'EM ALL NEXT SEASON!

It is, and alway will be "New York Giants Then, Now, & FOREVER" with me!

GIANTS 4 LIFE!

P.S. Tim Smith of 'New York Daily News', you've proved that your entire writing career is a "FLUKE"! At least try to sound like you watch a team before you run your cock-sucker about them! KILL URE SELF!

SAME STORY...NO D, NO HEART, ANOTHER LOSS

Hope all you Giants' fans out there wasn't fooled by the Giants', specifically the defense's, performance last week against the terrible Washington Redskins, because I WAS NOT!
New York's display in their last ever game at Giants' Stadium against Carolina was absolutely embarassing and shameful...on both sides of the ball!

After today's, and the other 6 losses this season, ive come to the realization that MY New York Giants, this season, are just NOT a good team. all 8 of our victories have come against terrible, terrible teams (Dallas included), and everyone of our losses, excluding Carolina, have come against playoff teams. Basically what im trying to say is, were good enough to beat awful teams, but not nearly good enough to beat teams we would have to play in the playoffs!

With all this said, Giants can STILL make the playoffs with Dallas going 0-2 in their last two games against the horrible Redskins and the Eagles, and New York winning their last game @ Minnesota. So in other words, our season is all but officially over! Besides, i wouldn't want this Giants team to make the playoffs just to get destroyed again by Philly in the first round!

Well, im looking foward to the offseason to see what coaching & player changes will be made, and what big name free agent we'll NOT sign (all those go to philly!).

We'll Get'em Next Season, G-MEN!

BASICALLY, A PLAYOFF GAME FOR GIANTS

Sunday's game againt Carolina is a "must win" for New York which basically makes it another regular season playoff game. Just like the Skins last week, this week vs. Carolina and next week against Minnesota are MUST wins to keep New York's playoff hopes alive!

In the, what seems to be an impossible event the Giants make it to Miami for Super Bowl 44, that'll technically be 6 playoff games we would have had to win. New york is no stranger to overcoming "impossible odds" like that to reach, and win a Super Bowl. Im pretty sure all you Giants' fans remember the '07 season! Referring to the 2007 Super Bowl season NEVER gets old! LOL

So if MY Giants close out Giant's Stadium against the Panthers with the same Intensity and urgency they used to kick the shit out of Washington, the carolina/most likely last ever Giant's Stadium game, should be no problem for MY Giants!

LET'S GET IT, G-MEN!!!

Injury Update (as of 12-26-09) – Four Doubtful for Panthers Game: Not practicing yesterday and all week were CB Corey Webster (knee), CB/S Aaron Ross (hamstring), HB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankles/foot), RT Kareem McKenzie (knee), and LG Rich Seubert (knee). Bradshaw is “probable” for the game against the Panthers on Sunday but the other four are “doubtful.”

Limited in practice again was WR Hakeem Nicks (hamstring); he is “probable” for the game.

QB Eli Manning (foot), LB Michael Boley (triceps), LB Jonathan Goff (hamstring/ribs), LB Chase Blackburn (ribs), CB Kevin Dockery (ankle), S C.C. Brown (hamstring), and PK Lawrence Tynes (hamstring) practiced fully. All are “probable” for the game.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A "GIANT" PLAYOFF BERTH

First off id like to wish a safe and happy holidays to all my friends, family, and fellow New York Giants fans! With that said, i would like to ask Santa and 8 lb, 6 oz Baby Christmas Jesus to PLEASE bring a playoff berth gift to MY New York Giants!

How sweet would it be to sneak into the playoffs and knock off the Eagle?! Maybe im getting way ahead of myself, but since it happened before with Dallas (anybody remember the 'o7 season?!) I just figured way not again? Now that would be an awesome Christmas gift!

If u ask me, no "playoff worthy" team deserves to make the playoffs more than the Giants! New York has endured alot this season, and just like a professional, championship team they took in stride and didnt complain or make any excuses. The G-Men had to deal with injuries to countless players, heartbreaking 1 point losses, 40 point spankings, 4 game lossing streaks, and the only people who's asses got kicked by The Giants, really deserved it (Flozell Adams, Albert Haynesworth, and Deangelo Hall...LOL)! So if any team deserves a surprise playoff gift for Christmas, its the New York Giants!

Happy Holidys EVERYBODY!!!

ELI HAVING A CAREER SEASON

Either because of the attention from how terrible the Giants' D has been the majority of the season, Losing 4 games in a row after winning the first 5, The Giants getting 40+ put on them in two seperate games, losing sure victories by 1 point, or because 90 % of the crap ESPN reports on is Brett Favre being mad about something (ESPN is turning into TMZ), it seems no one is talking about or recognizing the career season Eli Manning is having!

In a year where Eli has had to carry the G-Men on his shoulders, Eli has answered by throwing a career high in TDs (26), and with 2 games left in '09 season, needs only 416 yards (3584 pass yds) for a career high and first ever 4000 yard season. Thats only 208 yards a game Eli needs...he's averaging 209.3.

The Giants need to win their last two games vs Carolina, and @ Minnesota, and a loss by either Dallas or Green Bay to make the playoffs. So when/if the Giants make the playoffs, its no doubt it will because of Eli in the driver's seat driving the shit outta this BIG BLUE TANK, and driving it in a ALL PRO WAY!

NOW THATS NEW YORK GIANTS FOOTBALL! FINAL: Giants 45, Skins 12

9 Minutes 13 Seconds, 16 Plays, 80 Yards, and A touchdown! That was the New York Giants' opening drive against Washington that quite frankly, was probably the best drive i've seen from my Giants this season. I remember around the 8th play of the drive yelling out, "NOW THATS NEW YORK GIANTS FOOTBALL!!!".
Eli Manning, for the game, went 19/26, 268 yds, 3 TDs, and no picks. But the story was the defense! Giants D played with the intensity and passion Giants fans have been used to for so many years! jason Campbell stayed on his back, being sacked 5 times! Campbell even had to leave the game in the final minute of the 1st half after spraining his shoulder, but he returned for the start of the second half. Terrell Thomas picked off his 5th INT of the season and returned it for his 1st NFL TD. The Giants D also picked off 2 other passes by Bruce Johnson and Chase Blackburn.

My New York Giants played great in every aspect of the game Monday Night, ESPECIALLY defense! Its been along time since New York has played a great blow-out game like that and i enjoyed every damn second of it! But still, it was bitter/sweet and actually had me pissed at moments. All i could really think was, WHY IN THE HELL HAVE WE NOT BEEN PLAYING LIKE THIS ALL SEASON?!?! But ima stay positive, enjoy this win, and pray for "Ls" for Dallas and green Bay.

GREAT GAME, G-MEN!
Hey Tim, did I do good with the "non-all caps"??? LOL

GIANTS HAVE TO DO THEIR OWN DIRTY WORK

GIANTS TAKE ON THE DIVISON RIVAL REDSKINS IN WASHINGTON TONIGHT IN A MUST, MUST WIN FOR NEW YORK TO KEEP THEIR SLIM PLAYOFF CHANCES ALIVE! MY GIANT REALLY NEEDED DALLAS TO DO WHAT THEY WAS SUPPOSED TO DO AND LOSE TO THE OVER-RATED SAINTS SATURDAY NIGHT, BUT WE ALL KNOW HOW THAT TURNED OUT. SO ITS CLEAR THAT AS FAR AS "UNCONTROLABLE HELP" GOES, ITS JUST NOT THE GIANTS YEAR! SO IT LOOKS LIKE THE GIANTS ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DO THEIR OWN DIRTY WORK AND WIN THESE REMAINING 3 GAMES STARTING WITH WASHINGTON TONIGHT, AND THEN GET SOME HELP. LETS GO G-MEN!

GIANTS CAN STILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS IF...
-GIANTS WIN OUT AND EITHER DALLAS OR PACKERS LOSE 1 OF THEIR REMAINDING GAMES...

-OR, GIANTS FINISH 2-1 AND EITHER DALLAS OR PACKERS FINISH 0-2
BOTH OF WHICH ARE VERY POSSIBLE.

GIANTS' REMAINDING 3 GAMES:
@ WASHINGTON (MONDAY NIGHT)
VS. CAROLINA
@ MINNESOTA

SAINTS ARE OVER-RATED

SINCE THE SAINTS ARE NOT THE GIANTS AND I HATE DALLAS, IM NOT GOING TO WAIST TO MUCH TIME ON THIS. THE SAINTS HAVE GOT BE OVER-RATED! YOU'RE 13-O AT HOME IN THE SUPERDOME TO TAKE ON DALLAS IN DECEMBER AND LOSE?! ITS NOT JUST LOSING BUT HOW THEY LOST. DONT LOOK AT THE FINAL 24-17 SCORE, DALLAS DOMINATED THE SAINTS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL.
WHERE WAS THAT HIGH OCTANE SAINT'S OFFENSE THAT DESTROYED MY NEW YORK GIANTS? MAYBE IM JUST BITTER BECAUSE MY GIANTS NEEDED THE SAINTS TO BEAT DALLAS TO KEEP THEIR PLAYOFF HOPES ALIVE, BUT NOW I CANT BELIEVE THESE OVER-RATED "sAINTS" BEAT MY GIANTS.

WHY ELI CANT DO WRONG

I JUST RECENTLY RE-WATCHED THE GIANTS LAST DRIVE IN SUPER BOWL 42. AND WHEN ELI ESCAPED WHAT LOOKED LIKE A SURE SACK AND COMPLETED A 32 YARD PASS TO DAVID TYREE TO KEEP THE EVENTUAL GAME WINNING DRIVE ALIVE, I LITERALLY STARTED TO CRY! IT REINTERATED TO ME JUST HOW FORTUNATE I WAS TO WITNESS ELI DO THIS. I THOUGHT ABOUT IT, AFTER WHAT ELI MANNING AND THE GIANTS ACCOPLISHED ON FEBRUARY 3RD 2008, HE CAN DO NO WRONG FROM HERE ON OUT!

DAVID TYREE'S CATCH WAS AMAZING, BUT AFTER REALLY WATCHING IT, ELI'S SACK ESCAPE WAS A LITTLE MORE AMAZING...AT LEAST IN MY EYES. I MEAN THINK BACK TO WHAT ALL ELI LEAD HIS TEAM TO DO IN THAT DRIVE! THINK ABOUT ALL THE SUB-BATTLES ELI AND THE GIANTS WON THAT SEASON...ELI'S CRITICS EARLIER THAT SEASON, TIKI'S RETIREMENT, WINNING THE SUPER BOWL AFTER A ROLLERCOASTER 10-6 REGULAR SEASON, WINNING ALL ROAD PLAYOFF GAMES, BEATING DALLAS IN THE PLAYOFFS AFTER LOSING TO THEM TWICE THAT SEASON, AND OF COURSE BEATING THE 18-0 PATRIOTS! THINGS LIKE THIS NO TEAM WILL EVER, EVER DO AGAIN IN THE NFL!

GIANTS' RECEIVERS FUTURE LOOKS MIGHTY BRIGHT

3034 AND 216! THATS THE NUMBER OF YARDS AND RECEPTIONS THE NEW YORK GIANTS RECEIVING CORP HAS TOTALED SO FAR THIS SEASON(AFTER WEEK 13)! PROBABLY THE BEST PART OF THAT IS THE CORP CONSIST OF A ROOKIE (HAKEEM NICKS), A 2YR PLAYER (MARIO MANNINGHAM), 2 3YR PLAYERS (STEVE SMITH & KEVIN BOSS), AND A 4YR PLAYER (DOMENIK HIXON)...IN OTHER WORDS, THEY'RE ALL YOUNG!
IN A OFF SEASON WHERE ALL THE HYPE AND STRONG POINTS OF THIS YEAR'S GIANTS TEAM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE DEFENSIVE LINE, AND ALL THE QUESTIONS AND WEAKNESS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AT THE RECEIVER POSITIONS, ITS BEEN THE ABOLUTE, COMPLETE OPPOSITE! AS A MATTER OF FACT, "OPPOSITE" MIGHT BE AN UNDERSTATMENT!!! STEVE SMITH IS A CERTFIED NO.1/PRO BOWL/STAR RECEIVER WHO'S 85 RECEPTIONS SO FAR THIS SEASON HAS BROKE THE GIANTS' SINGLE SEASON RECEPTION RECORD HELD BY THE FORMER GIANT GREAT, ARMANI TOOMER. MARIO MANNINGHAM IS A UP AND COMING PLAYMAKER, WHO IF HE CAN POLISH A FEW ROUGH SPOTS, CAN B A SERIOUS SLOT DANGER. DOMENIK HIXON IS SOLID SPEED/DEEP THREAT THAT HAS ALSO SHOWN GREATNESS IN KICK OFF AND PUNT RETURNS. IN MY EYE'S, KEVIN BOSS IS THAT SIGNATURE RELIABLE TE THAT IF U REALLY LOOK AT EVERY GAME THIS SEASON, IS THE 1 PLAYER THAT HAS "BROUGHT IT" WEEK AFTER WEEK! AND THE "YOUNG BEAST", ROOKIE HAKEEM NICKS IS GOING TO B A STAR FOR THE GIANTS! HE'S SHAPING UP TO BE AN 'ANQUAN BOLDIN' TYPE THATS GONNA BE A "MONSTER" FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT 10 YEARS FOR THE G-MEN.
AFTER THE PLAXICO DRAMA, AND THE WAY THE GIANTS ENDED THE '08 SEASON, I MYSELF ALONG WITH EVERYBODY ELSE, HAD DOUBTS AND CONCERNS WITH THIS NEW RECEIVING SQUAD. BUT AFTER THAT 1ST DALLAS GAME, ON THAT HUGE PRIMETIME STAGE, ALL THOSE DOUBTS AND CONCERNS WERE QUICKLY AND PERMANENTLY PUT TO REST! ITS MORE THAN CLEAR, WITH THESE YOUNG TALENTED RECEIVERS AND THE GREAT ELI MANNING, THESE RECEIVER'S FUTURES LOOK MIGHTY BRIGHT!

PLEASE WAKE THE SLEEPING GIANTS

OK, SO ITS WEEK 15 AND EVERYBODY KNOWS BY NOW THAT, BESIDES THE 1ST FIVE "J.V." GAMES (DALLAS INCLUDED), THE GIANTS DEFENSE HAS BEEN ABSENT AT BEST! AFTER ALL THE HYPE IN THE OFF SEASON ABOUT OSI UMENYIORA'S RETURN FROM INJURY, THE OVER HYPED SIGNINGS OF CHRIS CANTY AND ROCKY BERNARD, AND THE OVER-BLOWN SUGGESTIONS THAT THIS WAS GOING TO BE "THE GREATEST D-LINE IN RECENT GIANTS HISTORY", THE GIANTS DEFENSE, INPARTICULAR THE D-LINE, HAS BEEN MEDIOCRE AT BEST! IS IT ME, OR WAS THE DEFENSE BETTER LAST SEASON WITHOUT OSI? ANYWAYS, AFTER THE WEEK 14 MADDEN GAME STYLE LOSS TO THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES, IM CONVINCED THAT THIS GIANTS DEFENSE IS EITHER 1 OF 2 THINGS...EITHER 1.)THEY'RE JUST NOT GOOD AS A UNIT, OR 2.) ITS THE COACHING. NOW, ITS REALLY HARD FOR ME TO BELIEVE THAT IN JUST ONE SEASON, THIS DEFENSE FORGOT HOW TO PLAY THE GAME. I DONT BUY THAT! SO THAT ONLY LEAVES THE SECOND, THE COACHING! IF NOT BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS(IF BY SOME MIRACLE WE GET IN) THERE MOST LIKELY WILL BE MAJOR DEFENSIVE COACHING CHANGES MADE IN THE OFF SEASON. WITH ALL THAT SAID, I STILL BELIEVE IN THIS GIANTS' DEFENSIVE UNIT! I WATCHED SOME OLD LAWRENCE TAYLOR CLIPS ON YOUTUBE AND GOT INSTANTLY HYPED UP! MAYBE COUGHLIN SHOULD HAVE THE DEFENSE SIT DOWN AND WATCH OLD FILM OF PAST GIANT DEFENSES...HE WOULDNT HAVE TO GO BACK TO FAR, HE COULD GO TO TAPES OF THE '07 SQUAD, THAT OF WHICH ALOT OF THESE CURRENT PLAYERS PLAYED ON! SOMEONE PLEASE WAKE UP THESE SLEEPING GIANTS! ITS NO DOUBT THAT THEY'VE BEEN ASLLEP, BUT STILL "GIANTS" NON-THE-LESS! LETS GO G-MEN!
